July 1-22nd we'll be teaching "Paranormal Research I" at the Moraine Park Technical College campus in West Bend. Then October 9-30th we'll be offering it again at the campus in Fond du Lac. November 6-27th we'll be teaching "Paranormal Research II" in Fond du Lac. Both courses are 12 hours. 03-15-11 We filmed our ninth episode of "Paranormal Generation" last night at a private residence in Central Illinois. This was our first private residence show. The investigation was kind of an emergency involving a mother with two kids. Since we're now backlogged 6 episodes, we're taking a break until September when we resume filming. However, we still have to do the reveals and in April they want us to come in to an actual TV station to do some interviews in an actual sound stage to insert into the episodes. Midwest Preternatural is going to be doing some off-camera investigations during the break, starting next week. The next episode, "Village Visitors, Part 1", airs March 27th.

02-11-11 Last night the Para Gen team investigated the Roff House (www.roffhome.com) in Watseka, IL. Roff House has been on Travel Channel and SyFy Channel. Troy Taylor also wrote a book about it. Roff House is the site of America's first documented case of spiritual possession in 1878. Yesterday was the 133rd anniversary of when the possession started. The site used to be open to the public for ghost hunts, but because some bad groups were coming in and provoking (and the owner has to live there), the activity got so bad that the owner closed it down to have it cleansed. It's now invite only. Para Gen is officially the first group to be invited back since the cleansing. There will be an exclusive article with pictures in the April issue of Mypara Magazine.

09-01-10 We start filming next week for our paranormal TV show! It will be called "Paranormal Generation", and it will be broadcasted on ARTV in Chicago, Youtube, and Mypara.net. We have investigations set up at Elsing's Second Hand Shop in Stoughton, the Karsten Inn and Hamachek Village Schoolhouse & Morgue in Kewaunee, and the Alchemist Theater and Shaker's Cigar Bar in Milwaukee. They will air one episode per month, every month, beginning in October. The first three episodes will be our "pilot season", and if it's a success they will put them out on DVD in December. Our official Season 1 will begin in January, and it will be 12 episodes. There will be a new DVD every 6 months. WE ARE NON PROFIT. Money raised from the DVDs will be given to the TV crew for their hard work. (The producers and cameramen are doing this for no money starting out.) We will also have t-shirts and other merchandise. The money raised will be used for travel expenses and better equipment. The first couple seasons will stay in WI/IL. If the show continues to be a success, they want to start looking for hotel chains and restaurants to sponsor us. That way we can travel to more famous locations across the country and have some of our travel expenses paid for. "The purpose of "Paranormal Generation" is to create a television/web based media program that takes a realistic & scientific look into the paranormal. Our goal is to create a 100% true to life paranormal investigation program free from Hollywood tricks, imagery, or special effects -- and to provide the public with this unique experience through TV and Internet. Under NO circumstances will artificial evidence footage ever be used in the making of this program -- 100% genuine, no questions asked. This show will be as close to a genuine paranormal investigation as one can get. The show will have a more scientific/historical angle than many of the ghost hunting shows currently running. No cheap thrills, no screaming every time the floor creaks, no "summoning spirits", no relying on psychics, no crying orbs every time a speck of dust floats past the lens. Personal experiences are wonderful but inconclusive. Evidence must be recorded on a device of some sort. Paranormal Generation will take on locations and cases and do an entertaining and honest investigation. We will go over specific tools used by investigators, explain the common beliefs of the paranormal, as well as tell about often mistaken evidence captured in traditional investigations by both professional and amateur investigators." The show is being produced by Phantom Media.
