Background: This was one of the first places I checked out with my first group three years ago. It was also where we got our first possible EVP. We always meant to go back, but never did. You can read about our first investigation and listen to the EVP here.

Our Investigation: We recently returned here by ourselves. I tried a few years ago to get permission to do a formal investigation after dark, but due to vandalism the town is very strict and doesn't want anybody here after dark. So once again our informal visit was limited to daytime hours.

Findings/Personal Experiences: In this clip, we've come across a desecrated grave and we're commenting on how sad it is. Right after I say, "Can you tell us who did this?" you hear this sound. We were together the whole time and there was nobody else in the cemetery besides us. The cemetery isn't very big, and there's only one road coming in and out of it. Also, the entire time I was making mental note of any sounds that could later be mistaken as EVPs, and I don't remember hearing anything like this.

Final Analysis: This is the second visit we've made to this cemetery where we might have gotten something. While I think most of the stories surrounding it are just stories created by thrill-seeking teenagers - for example the rumor that it was once ranked as the third most haunted cemetery in the country has already been debunked, as has the belief that the cemetery appeared on Unsolved Mysteries - there does seem to be *something* going on, but it's exaggerated.

I don't believe most cemeteries are haunted unless someone died in them, but it's possible there could be a haunting due to all the vandalism we saw. There were several graves that were knocked down and broken. We just want to say how terrible we think that is, and this is clearly why people aren't allowed in after dark. There were flowers on some of the graves so some of the people buried there still have living family.
